When I download pdf files through Firefox, nothing appears - blank page. Sometimes a dialog box appears asking me what application I wish to select and I select Acrobat MS Word is not an option available). I've gone over my settings and preferences but can see nothing that would produce such a result. I am using a G5 iMac.

I had this issue using FF 5.0, I fixed it by doing the following :
- Go to firefox button, select options, options.
- Find all the applications that are listed as Adobe
- Change the action from 'Use Adobe Reader (in FireFox)' to 'Use Adobe Reader'
Fixed :)
