I would like to enable picture-in-picture without constantly having a popup for it anytime my cursor goes onto the video screen. You could just put a button somewhere out of the way. It's so annoying I have to just disable it, and that's not right. Nobody needs popups of any kind for anything ever. It's the same as an ad.

Just so that I'm clear on the issue, can you show what you're talking about?

This is not a browser issue, but YouTube. I went to the same video today and the PnP option behavior is not the same as yesterday in Firefox. In Chrome and the PnP option not showing like Firefox. see screenshots

@jonzn4SUSE If it's there in Firefox but not in Chrome, then how is it not a browser issue? When I turn off PNP option in Firefox, the popup goes away.

@donthavecow It's no specific video, but all videos, when my mouse gets anywhere on the video screen the box that I don't want to see pops up .

I'm not saying the feature doesn't work, but that I don't want the controls for it popping up every time my mouse goes on the video screen. It would be nice to have the option for PIP available without having to deal with a popup. I can't stand things popping up in my face every time I try to do anything online, so I use Firefox for the ability to get rid of all that, but with the PIP, Firefox makes me put up with it unless I disable the PIP option in the settings.
