The Firefox VPN is broken. The icon keeps showing me the yellow exclamation point. I tried restarting it, but even though it starts this time, it doesn't work at all.

Now, when I click the icon, it only tells me that I need to sign into my account to use it. When I click the sign in button, it doesn't even allow me to put my password in. It just brings me right back to the screen I was viewing and says 'Sign-In Failed'. I also tried logging into my Firefox account, but even then, it shows nothing pertaining to the VPN.

You said you tried restarting it, does that mean you removed it and readded it to the browser? As long as you're signed into FF on your browser, as well, it should work just fine. Let me know.

I'm afraid not. Strangely enough, it started working shortly after this. Now, it's encountering the same problem. I cannot sign into my VPN, as every single sign in attempt has failed miserably. Frankly, I am outraged at the extremely poor quality workmanship that has gone into this VPN if it continues to have these kinds of problems. I established my account before the new year of 2020, so I should not have to pay for it's use.
