I deleted the FF download I had been using because I was having an issue where my bookmarks bar wouldn't show up, the max/min/close buttons on the window wouldn't appear, and nothing I typed would appear in the address bar. This was a clean download where I deleted FF from the applications folder. The new download works fine if I double click the application directly in the download window (where it prompts you to drag it into the applications folder) and then sync my account to get the bookmarks and extensions back. Once I do drag the application into the applications folder and then try to open it from there, I am stuck with the same issues described above with an unresponsive address bar and no min/max/close buttons. I've attached a screencap of the problem window and the "download window" in case either of those things were not clear.
