Everytime I try to open mozilla firefox, my Internet Explorer opens instead. I uninstalled firefox and downloaded it again, but it doesn't work. What can I do to fix my problem?

Possibly you are trying to open Firefox indirectly by selecting some link or HTML item, rather than using Firefox's start icon, or program shortcut.
By default on Windows IE is the chosen browser for many actions and you will need to change that if you wish Firefox to be the browser of default choice.
