When visiting certain sites the browser flashes a black screen over and over and becomes unusable. There are documented fixes for this problem on a desktop, but not for mobile. Using an iPhone 6s Plus. There is no “options” button. About:config does not open anything either. Same sites work fine in native Safari browser and in Chrome.

That is unusual that the same sites work fine on Safari and Chrome. There is only one web browser engine on iOS which means Firefox, Safari and Chrome should view websites identically.
