Updated to Firefox 8 from 7.

Chosen solution

You are probably using Roboform and that is the problem, either uninstall it or try to update it.

There are other ways to get round problems but I suspect your security software is blocking changes.

Problem solved. Uninstalled Roboform and Firefox runs normally. Installed latest version of RForm.
