Gmail hangs when it is pinned as an app tab

When pinning Gmail as an app tab, Firefox hangs on the loading page after start-up. If I refresh the page, nothing happens, but if I select an option (such as html only) it responds. From then on, it works correctly.

I'm a google apps user and had this problem too. I fixed it by entering this url to a tab (didn't hit enter) and while loading (before the address get changed by a redirect) pinned it: https://mail.google.com/a/<your google apps domain>/#inbox
