when upgraded to firefox 3.6.13 i lost ALL bookmarks!!

I was told I needed to upgrade firefox to 3.6.13 to continue. After the restart I have lost all bookmarks. Please help.

Did you update from a Firefox 3.0.x version?

I don't know what previous version. 2nd reply has sent me a link. Does it matter what version when you restore?

The last bookmark was in November? Any where else they may be? Why would it stop backing up my bookmarks?
