spacebar function and photoshop

I absolutely love the features on firefox. I have been forced to use safari right now. I constantly have firefox open while I work in photoshop. In photoshop I regularly use the spacebar to toggle functions. I did some research about this and found that many people have this same problem when firefox is open. I closed firefox and instantly my photoshop spacebar functionality had returned. something in firefox is causing photoshop to not recognize pressing the space bar...I use photoshop cs4. I want to get back to firefox because it makes my job easier, but with out the spacebar in photoshop I have to avoid firefox

I've been having the same problem. I closed Firefox and of course the spacebar worked. I then launched Firefox, and while it was launching I went into Photoshop and held down my spacebar until FF was completely open and running. I've been able to switch back and forth between FF & PS and the spacebar is working fine. This was on an iMac.
