I upgraded to the latest M Firefox browser 3.6, when I go to my email sites or any other site that required a password to log in, ALL the remembered passwords were erased in the new version of Firefox. For example, click sequence ' Tools- Options- Security- Show passwords' The screen is empty. no more passwords for any of the dozens of sites for which passwords were 'remembered' by my computer for log in purposes. How do I get them restored?

Try to rename signons.sqlite to signons.sqlite.old in the Firefox Profile Folder to see if that makes Firefox import (convert) the passwords from signons3.txt.
