Hi Dennis, just in case you didn't see Max's reply in your other thread:

Hi Dennis, If the display becomes unstable only in Firefox after an update, one thing worth checking is whether hardware acceleration is involved. Firefox uses your graphics hardware to render pages, and a problem with this can sometimes cause flickering, visual glitches or other display issues. To test this, open the Firefox menu, select Settings, then General. Scroll down to Performance, untick “Use recommended performance settings”, and then untick “Use hardware acceleration when available”. Restart Firefox and see whether the display is stable. If that doesn't help, could you describe what you mean by “unstable”? For example, does the screen flicker, do parts of webpages disappear, or does the whole browser window become distorted? It would also help to know your operating system and Firefox version. That should help narrow down whether this is a graphics-related issue or something introduced by the recent update.
