when VPN is turned On, Everything else is Locked!
When the VPN is turned On it acts like a dead switch and locks All bookmark toolbar links as well as Search entries stays locked and will not activate? makes FIREFOX dead in the water. (using Brave Search engine) Any advice?

Thank you for getting back to this thread that you've fixed the issue. Do you mind to share what works for you? I think this user suffers from the same issue.
Sure glad to help others if I can... in about:config I searched and set -browser.ipProtection.enabled to True and changed in browser settings, privacy and security scroll down to Dns over Https settings and turned from Max to Off then logged into VPN and worked!
