I lost my bookmarks when I tried to update Firefox due to fault on my PC. I had to have a new drive installed, is there anyway of retrieving my old bookmarks?

Is there any way I can retrieve my bookmarks from old installation of Firefox? I lost my bookmarks due to fault on my PC. I have a new drive and have reinstalled Firefox on this one. Any advice greatly appreciated. Thanks
