I have been using Thunderbird for my email for a number of years now. I don't understand why, when I repeatedly block a particular email, the 'blocked' email message comes through to my email box anyway.

If you want to block a particular email address, set a filter. The junk filter does not do that.

Or set rules at the server. Servers can block. Thunderbird only filters.

I do have a filter set and I've gone back to the filters multiple times to check and see if it is still there...and it is.

The image attached shows this to be true, but the emails still come through to me.

???

If you use classic search (control + shift + F) to look for that e-mail address, do you find it?
