How do I get out of the safety mode?

Firefox 4 and later start in [https://support.mozilla.com/kb/Safe+Mode Save mode] if the Shift key is pressed while you click the desktop shortcut or if you use a shortcut key that only has a Shift key modifier.<br /> If the latter applies then use a keyboard shortcut that uses other modifier keys like Ctrl or Alt in addition to the Shift key.
