When using Firefox Google search cannot be accessed properly it halts on the 'before you continue to Google' page.
Hi, I am on a Dell I9 laptop with 32GB memory and using W11. In Firefox(long-time user) I pick Google as the search engine but when I search for a topic - say BA,com - Firefox produces a google page 'Before you continue to Google' which is their cookie page and it does not scroll so I cannot make a choice of cookie preferences and therefore cannot pass the page. Likely this is a Google problem but I cannot report to Google. Why not you may ask.? Well to do that you must be able to conduct a google search and access a feedback facility. But as I cannot search, I cannot Report, Catch 22 - stupid loop - but a perfect way to cripple access to Google Search. Other search engines work OK in Firefox. Same problem in Chrome! - so do not despair, but remarkably, no problem with MS Edge.
I wondered if you could alert Google to this user problem - most people want to use Google Search - I have always used it over many years.

Hi Gilbert, I haven't seen that.
You enter your query in Firefox using the address bar, but after submitting the query, instead of getting the results page, you get a cookie consent page with no accessible buttons?
I might not see this because I'm in California and they just assume consent here?
Could you try zooming out by holding down the Ctrl key and tapping the - key a few times? Usually if a page is too large/long, this will bring the other elements into view so you can interact with them. To reset, hold down Ctrl and tap 0 (that's a zero).
Does that get you to the results?
Great help - worked first time ,- much relieved. Is this Google problem or Firefox one. This only started in the last 24 hours so I was very puzzled. Best Gilbert
It's possible Google changed the page intentionally, or maybe they changed some style rules that made it less usable without realizing it. Your guess is probably better than mine because I can't see it myself.
Could it be a change in Firefox 159? I doubt only one page would be affected, so if you notice other pages that are missing an expected scroll bar, let us know.
