Do you have an example of a page that does not load correctly?

Think it was a customer survey response link in the last instance. Otherwise pretty random, but issue seems to have stopped occurring in last 2 days so probably leave for now. Appreciate response.

I also frequently have issues loading pages when i have all the privacy settings enabled to prevent tracking on firefox focus. It seems to break websites that use lots of javascript and tracking/fingerprinting. So how can I have these privacy settings turned on but still load pages ???

Cuz right now I just have to turn all the privacy protections off to load some pages, which is annoying and kinda defeats the purpose of Firefox Focus for me, because I use it as my alt quick search browser for things i don't need to save or open more than 10 tabs with, and i also want to be private by default and still be able to load pages.

I don't have a specific example right now but I can definitely say that news sites like CNN, NYT, etc that have lots of tracking/ads/javascript are not usable.

Also sites that require cookies to be enabled completely refuse to load and show an error. So how can I solve these problems without turning off all privacy settings??

or what are the steps to take when a page breaks and can't load bc of no cookies enabled or one of the enhanced privacy settings conflicting with the page loading? is there a gradually change settings order to do that will allow the page to load without sacrificing all of privacy?

I am also thinking about becoming a contributor and this answer would be very very valuable to help others bc i know this is a big issue and some clarity on it would go a long way in marketing focus as a great lightweight privacy focused browser that doesn't break most pages....when theres no easy/obvious solution then people tend to abandon using it....

what types of sites are you browsing? can you say what the pages that failed to load might have in common? (lots of ads, complex overlays and javascript content, tracking etc)

I find it doesn't load news sites well and also other pages that are what i would classify as "overdesigned and hostile towards privacy. so when you enable enhanced protections of your privacy in FF Focus, these sites don't like that and can't load well when parts are being blocked. I haven't figured out how to still load these sites without turning off all the enhanced privacy protections.......you can try disabling them 1 at a time, like disable the ads toggle, or tracking, etc and refresh page to see if it loads.

FF Focus should have a userguide for what to do when a site doesn't load, what common issues there are and how to fix it. whether its from enhanced privacy protection settings breaking the page or if its bc of no cookies allowed.
