Incoming email missing the body.

Jim Bailey

Every once in a while a complete series of incoming emails has nothing in the body. I click any recent 'good' email. Perhaps the subject is "XYZ". Clicking any of the 'bad' emails will show the good email's From, To, and subject of "XYZ". It seems to last for, maybe 20 incoming emails, then the issue stops. It has happened several times over the last year. If I go out to Xfinity the same emails do not have this issue. How do I fix this?

Try this: right-click the account in the Folder Pane, Properties, Repair Folder, to rebuild the message index.

I did that several times based on your recommendation. Better, but many emails show up as code. As if it is in HTML, or DOM format. Any way to fix these?

Do you have View/Message Body As set to Original HTML?
