Hi priapitis_wordsman,

I think this article will surely help you.

Thank You.

What length do you have in mind ? Why don't you try this out ?

I don't think there is a maximum (there is a minimum of 8 characters) unless you want to go very far (e.g. above hundred).

I am trying to log into my account but the password I have on file is not registering. I'm wondering if FF truncated the password due to its length.

You can check the password in Lockwise if you use auto-fill or otherwise use the Password Manager.

In case of issues try to login to the Firefox Account via this website.

I'm not sure how using Lockwise helps with my issue, but I tried it anyway and had it enter my password and email. No dice.

I do happen to have my recovery key on hand and after entering it in I received the account verification code emailed to me. I entered that in the field but it claimed the password was incorrect.

I don't understand why it's saying the password (or in this case the recovery key) is incorrect when the verification code was emailed to me. Doesn't the fact that the code was emailed mean that the recovery key was correct?
