I routinely file my old messages away from my inbox to the properly named folder. However when I go back to those messages, I find them corrupted like the header is there, but the message is corrupted, some (like the example attached) messages look like they were blended in from other messages, other photo attachments are missing as well. I suspect the compact option I get all the time as I have used it (see attachment) several times in the interest of saving space. Has anybody else have that problem, any way to restore those old messages, fix the compact so that it doesn't do that anymore?
