I've tried to delete some redundant bookmarks, but the deletion doesn't take!
I accidentally imported my bookmarks twice, now the list in the bookmarks tab of the browser is twice the length it should be...should be no problem, but I've tried to delete the extras 2 or 3 times now. They just won't delete! I've tried restarting the browser each time, and they're still there.

A possible cause is a problem with the file places.sqlite that stores the bookmarks and the history.
