I can't receive e-mails at xxx@oh.rr.com. Another error occurred with the POP3mail server. (locked duplicate)

To Whom it concerns, It has been about 4-5 days since I can't receive my e-mail. I have e-mail you different times with errors coming up. When I open my mail since yesterday an error now says error with acct. cray9@oh.rr.com. Another error occurred with the POP3mail server. The mailbox closes. Then a box comes up Thunder Bird crash reporter then I can put why and then restart my e-mail. It does try to load my e-mail then stops. And now my password box doesn't come up to put my password in. Last it says connection to mail.twc.com was reset then once again the mailbox closes. Please help, I have been a customer with Thunder Bird for years. Thank you!!

Question Did it give you direct access to that troubleshoot mode, or did it fail to use it?

Hi Googlethunderbird, Hi I am not sure on doing this. I am not to good with computers. Thank you for your input and all. I took my computer into a computer shop due to I need my incoming mail to work.

Did the computer store fix that issue? Opening Thunderbird in Troubleshoot Mode is only for diagnosing PC and software problems, not a permanent fix. Getting a diagnostic report can cost a lot; the fees add up real quick.

Hi, The technician called me today to work on it. This was my last thing to do was take it to the computer shop, I agree with the cost. Note, I have been a customer of Thunder Bird for years. Note, last year it was no way I could send e-mails. As I remember it was long and a person from Mozilla send me a e-mail , it was an easy fix. The one setting was wrong. Try his has been a night mare for me. If you can see the many error messages I have send over the days in this page. I just need my incoming mail to work. Thanks

Yeah, I get some parts of this story.


You might try first this issue fix if all folders are full of data and emails. It s time to clean these folders. Try this it might help you .


Repair It time to repair the thunderbird inbox folder. Right click on the inbox folder. Go to property’s click on repair folder. It rebuilds without losing email s.

Tip I recommend using IMAP instead of POP3. And you can still send me screenshots of messages related to the error if you like Cleaning that pc after so much error messages. Get antivirus for pc use. And use that latest version of thunderbird to solve conflicts.

If you are having issues with your email provider, it isn't a problem with Thunderbird itself. It is simply a provider issue, so hiring an IT technician really isn't necessary

Hi, I will look back on all my errors and try to send them all to you. I really appreciate all your time and help!! Right now I am just using my phone due to my computer is in the computer shop. Thank you for all your help again !!
