firefox help why can't I open money saving expert links on website (UK)

Hi Moneysavingexpert is a website that sends out emails with links for different sections of its website. I can only go to the main page, when I click other links in the email, or on the website main page, it just returns me to the main web page. I am not having issues with any other websites and I have turned some ad blockers in case it was them but I still have the problem. No one else has reported this problem on the website so I am guessing it must be something to do with my settings....

Hi Denys, I also contacted moneysavingexpert, and strangely on checking that the problem did still exist I see that it is now fixed so I am assuming it was something with their website. However I will keep your instructions in case the problem reappears.

Hi,

We're sorry to hear that the page doesn't work as expected. In order to look for the root cause, please follow the steps below and provide us with more information to troubleshoot your issue.

  1. Please check if you have Enhanced Tracking Protection (ETP) enabled. You can do that by clicking the shield Fx89ShieldIcon icon at the left of the address bar.
    • If ETP is enabled, try disabling it. Does the problem persist?
  2. If the problem is not fixed, try clearing Firefox cache. Does it help?
  3. If it does not help, also try clearing cookies and data for the website you experience troubles with (warning: you will be logged out on this website). Does it help?
  4. If it also does not help, try running Firefox in Troubleshoot Mode. Does the problem persist?
