This is really odd. For some reason all of my previous passwords and logins are missing from Firefox. I don't even know if I updated the browser at all for this to happen.

What I do know is that the passwords are gone and there is no logins.json.corrupted so I can't follow the steps from what happened to try and get them back. What happpened? I need these passwords. I'm on version 79.0 on Windows 10

How many profiles are listed? How many should be there? Also, open the profile folder in your file explorer.

I did this, there was only the default profile which is the only one it should have. My desktop also does not have a "Old Firefox" folder.

Start Firefox in Safe Mode {web link}

A small dialog should appear. Click Start In Safe Mode (not Refresh). Is the problem still there?

The problem is still here. I decided to try to just live with it, but it seems that Lockwise deleted all my new passwords AGAIN.

This is a huge problem if firefox can no longer store my passwords. May as well change to Chrome.
