UNencrypted pages on encrypted sites
This started just a few days ago. When ever i am opening encrypted/https sites like facebook or outlook even google at a point i am noticing that the lock icon is converting to exclamation icon that means i was then surfing an unencrypeted page. How to solve this.
Config: OS : UBUNTU 12.04

hello dr_mrinal, press f12 in order to open the web-console, just keep the security logging active and reload one of the pages where the secure connection is broken - this should show which elements ("mixed content") are loaded through an unencrypted connection and therefore the warning sign is displayed.
I have provided the consol outcomes of a session where once or twice the warning sign came and went without any interference.
This is what i got this time "Loading mixed (insecure) display content on a secure page "http://cs.atdmt.com/?a=AYxNYMlt0G_QKYjCaMVEJKhwqu3UpSwToE9nvdBIcM1dZK8L0J11DToZe6_ZaWdsVhuyCHORd5-5HlTnw2rLs_EQ4dim8OBZFuB-wH-2gXOcO6lPI4fZhIjTUjH31jRYpqI"[Learn More]"
Now how to stop it???
you can turn on the blocking of "passive" mixed content (pictures, videos, etc.). therefore enter about:config into the firefox address bar (confirm the info message in case it shows up) & search for the preference named security.mixed_content.block_display_content . double-click it and change its value to true.
also go through your list of installed extensions and remove any entry that might be adware, that you have not installed yourself or don't know what purpose it serves...
