Get this useful Add-on:

https://addons.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/addon/print-pages-to-pdf/

Then open the Email you want to save as PDF in Gmail.

Now, use 'Print' button at top right corner of your Email ( Image is attached )

Then Tools -> Print pages to PDF -> Print active tab ( or text version if you wish )
