Firefox will not open can someone please help me?

I have used Firefox regularly and all of a sudden it would not open. I have searched everywhere for a solution but I cant seem to get anything that works. I have uninstalled the program and re installed and the problem persists. Any suggestion? When I check on the task manager in processes it appears to be on. I delete the prcosess but still nothing!

The problem may be in your profile folder (location where user data is stored), see if you can create a new profile and start Firefox that way - http://kb.mozillazine.org/Creating_a_new_Firefox_profile_on_Windows

If the new profile works you can copy selected data such as bookmarks and passwords to the new profile - https://support.mozilla.com/kb/Recovering+important+data+from+an+old+profile
