Why is the back arrow greyed out on the first page I visit after my home page?

No matter what page I visit after my home page, the back arrow is greyed out. The next page that I visit, it is now active and I can arrow back to the previous page, but the back arrow is then greyed out again, and I can't back arrow to my home page.

Macafee site advisor can cause this problem, disable if you have it
