ipad air 5 - when i open firefox focus, I cannot enter information in search bar.

for some time now I frequently cannot enter anything in the search bar of firefox focus on my ipad air 5, and have to close and reopen firefox focus to be able to enter info. Now I cannot enter info no matter what I do, I have deleted and reloaded firefox focus, I have shut down my ipad and rebooted. Nothing works. When I touch the bar to start entering info, a blue line sometimes will flash briefly, but if does, it immediately goes out.

yes, a logitech. If I disconnect it, firefox focus works fine. It seems to think my keyboard is a tracking device. Is there anything I can do to make it accept my keyboard? For a long time, focus would refuse my first attempt, but after I closed and reopened focus, it would work with the keyboard. But no longer.
