i cant save any bookmarks , as i seem to be blocked by something in firefox , i have rest , refreshed fire fox and i have uninstalled and reinstalled , still have the same problem

Does it also happen after a reboot? Most of the time it's something external like an antivirus scan keeping the files locked and inaccessible — see Can't add, change or save bookmarks - How to fix for all the options.
