Delete ALL browsing data ... But after not using laptop for a few hours more data appears. Why?
I always delete ALL browsing data every time after using the internet. However, when I next go to use it there is a whole load more kB under "temporary cached files and pages". This usually happens overnight, but has also happened in the daytime. Why would this be? Does it mean someone has gained access to my laptop? Now more concerned as have had fraudulent use of my bank card today.
Non-technical language answers please!

There's usually a certain amount of data cached by Firefox itself… weather, wallpapers, photo of the day, suggested articles… if you keep your browser running these get periodically preloaded for you.
To put this in some context: If I launch a completely new and empty installation, it shows between 55–85 kB of cached data without ever touching single button.
