Crashes when opening a new tab
When playing a YouTube video and attempting to open a new tab, Firefox consistently crashes. This was also occurring with Picture-in-Picture mode.
Has anyone else encountered this?

Hello,
Thanks for the reply and apologies for the delay. Please find all recent crash reports below, these are all related to the same issue. I've worked on it a bit more in the meantime, crashes still occur when attempting to use Picture-in-Picture mode. A crash did not occur when opening a new tab with YouTube still playing after refreshing Firefox.

ESET Security is crashing Firefox here.
Hi Ty,
No, it isn't. ESET has been installed on my device for a long time, this issue is brand new this week. I also just tested this by disabling ESET and the crashes still occurred. I have another device with both ESET and FireFox installed on it, this crash is not happening on that device.

With regards to my previous reply, I can see there is a difference in FireFox versions.
The one crashing is 150.0.2.
The one behaving normally is 150.0.1.
Thanks, Liberty
This is what I see in the crash report. eOppBrowser.dll is crashing Firefox (it's ESET). As a test, try to disable "Safe Banking & Browsing" and "Browser Privacy & Security" in ESET, then restart a computer.
Hi Ty,
Thanks for your help on this. You're right, I'm wrong. Disabling those aspects of ESET did solve the problem. I'm doing a fresh installation of FireFox and ESET now to see if that resolves it completely.
Thanks, Liberty
