Maybe you can set it by https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/add-website-shortcut-your-home-screen-ios
You can just remove the shortcuts, or you uncheck them by https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/view-recent-tabs-on-firefox-ios-homepage
