Interesting... What OS? What Desktop? X11 or Wayland? How about posting a screenshot. What do you get with Firefox from Mozilla? Download, unzip, and run firefox-bin from the folder and see if you have the same issue. https://www.mozilla.org/en-US/firefox/all/#product-desktop-release Here's my distro version of Firefox. see screenshot
fresh install of debian 13.3 and XFCE downloaded and unpacked the 147 tarball from the mozilla website in my xterm, $XDG_SESSION_TYPE echos as "tty" loginctl reports the same I read somewhere that Debian has been using Wayland by default for a few years see also https://wiki.debian.org/Wayland However, the debian page for Wayland indicates XFCE doesn't support Wayland https://wiki.debian.org/Wayland#XFCE_.28unsupported.29 see also https://wiki.xfce.org/releng/wayland_roadmap firefox-bin also shows empty fields

I posted a reply. It appeared. I then edited it, adding a few more lines. Now it is gone. On another thread here, I struggled with my posts disappearing . The bug needs to be fixed, It's 2026, this shouldn't be happening, I shouldn't have to "watch where I step" for something as rudimentary as posting a reply to a thread.

All the fields are empty. Why ? With the gazillion of FF users, I can't be the only one. This must have been solved previously.
Here is an answer from AI. https://www.google.com/search?client=firefox-b-1-e&q=about%3Asupport+have+no+data&sei=Y7l6afPvM5yf5NoPmOrLqA4
See what happens on X11 and also another desktop.
