Trying to download Firefox but something keeps cancelling the downloads

Try downloading the full offline setup for Windows from https://www.firefox.com/download/all/desktop-release/ as downloading from firefox.com may be serving you the small online stub installer that some security/antivirus software has had issues with false positives and such over the years.
