My home page has been Firefox for at least four years. Suddenly my home page switched to Norton and I can't get back to Firefox. Please help wth explicit, foolproof intructions. I am using Windows 11. I am87 years old and I do mean foolproof.

How do I reset my homepage to Firefox and away from Norton. I don't know why my homepage switched away from Firefox. I require explicit foolproof instructions. I am 87 years old and not savvy.

The first thing to try is simply to switch your home page setting back to "Firefox Home" and see whether that works. You do this on the Settings page, Home panel. See:

How to set the home page

It's possible that Firefox will have a note there that an extension (an add-on) is controlling your home page and/or your new tab page setting. Sometimes extensions have their own settings to control what they change. If you can't stop a Norton extension from changing your home page, maybe you'll have to disable or remove it. Please see the following article for details:

An extension changed my New Tab page or home page
