That makes no sense? What exactly is this and what does the screenshot look like?

Hello,

To remove websites from the list that appears when you open Firefox, you can follow these steps:

Open Firefox and click on the three horizontal lines in the top-right corner to open the menu. Select Options (or Preferences on macOS). In the General tab, locate the section labeled 'Home' or 'Startup'. You should see a field called 'Homepage and new windows' with a list of websites. Hover over the website you want to remove and click on the 'X' icon that appears next to it. Repeat this process for all the websites you want to delete. Once you have removed the desired websites, close the settings tab. After following these steps, the websites you removed should no longer appear on the opening page.

I hope this helps! Let me know if you have any further questions or need additional assistance.

If you look for this, you will notice that many, many versions ago, the menu item changed to Settings instead of Options.

That is not possible on the Settings page in Firefox. You need to open the Firefox Home / new tab page itself to modify individual items. Please refer to the previously linked article: Customize items on your Firefox New Tab page.

If this was from ChatGPT, please be aware that it makes things up in an effort to be helpful, and the result often is very UNhelpful.
