After the most recent patch (the October patch that was delayed until December), If I try to use or reinstall Thunderbird I get a BSOD and the computer crashes to reboot. I am on a HP Envy x360 with I7 Core. No DVD, only USB and microchip access beyond Home Secure Wi Fi. It worked perfectly until this patch.

have you tried reinstalling from getthunderbird.com

Nope, It still the same version of Thunderbird

No "application" should ever cause BSOD. Something running in kernel mode (drivers, AV, Windows flaws, etc) is causing it.

It not only hit me, It hit the IT company where my son works in Chicago. 1 BSOD is bad, 126 is catastrophic for an IT company. BTW, WE never connected computers, only by Phone.
