Frequent crashes TB 52.4.0 on macOS Sierra

Random crashes, almost every session, often when TB is simply running in the background. Crash reports are nowhere to be found... The folder ~/Library/Thunderbird/Crash Reports/submitted/ does not exist...

Yes, the crash reporter usually appears. And I have asked for help, and indicated that the crashes are frequent.

Yes. MacOS 10.12.6 . The problem has apparently dissolved, without any knowing intervention on my part. At the same time, I have been having problems with my Wacom tablet, and that issue now seems to have improved somewhat, so perhaps there was some interplay between TB and the Wacom driver - or maybe just a coincidence. Anyway, thanks.
