Would like to high lite or change color of specific words in incoming mail, not the whole message, then save for future reference. Is there an add-on available?
I already know that a user can change the font color to an entire incomong or outgoing message.
To save on time, when reviewing old messages saved in an inbox, I would like to hi-lite certain words, or change certain words to a different font color.
Is there an add-on available ?

There is a highlighter add-on, but it only works when editing, meaning in the composition window. So to use it, you'd have to open the message for editing (maybe "Edit As New") and somehow save it. But if you close a message being edited, Thunderbird treats it as a draft and I don't know if you could move such a message.
