Unable to login and Get Messages for two days

When I give password it states:- 

Login to server imap.mail.yahoo.com failed.

Then a balloon message appears which includes - Server has disconnected. The server may have gone down.... Any advice? Thanks.

I have since been sent an email by Yahoo and have now resolved the problem.
