I'm setting up a new computer for an elderly lady. On her old computer she logs straight in to emails. But I want to set up on new computer but it doesn't recognise her email address or password - both are correct. Old computer is not Wifi so modem is connected by a lead. I've been transferring the lead to the new computer - but maybe I don't need to do that? Would that be confusing the configuration?

I changed my Gmail password and Thunderbird asks me to enter the new one, however, it displays my email address with a lit 'Next' button but the button doesn't take me to the next screen to allow me to enter the password, it just flashes, no matter how many time I click it.

When I send a message to anyone using the blind copy option, both the name and email address appears on the recipients copy of the email. This first started in December ( I send Quarterly mailings to several groups.) I have used this program for last couple of years and never had this problem before. What has happened and how can I correct it.

It looks like they are being sent as a blind copy, but they arrive with the email address showing.

Recently transferred from Chrome. My understanding was Firefox private browsing was supposed to work similarly to chrome incognito mode; once you close the browser, all local files are deleted and cookies are cleared.

However, with Firefox it maintains my logins. If I log into an account while private browsing and the close the browser, I’ll still be logged in next time I go to the website even if it’s days later (and I have never logged into this account in a non-private browsing window!)

I never had this issue using chrome incognito, so it seems to be a Firefox problem.

Is this just not something Firefox supports? Is there any way to prevent storage of cookies and private data?

If I were to delete my Mozilla account, would I be automatically signed out of both my Mozilla account and my Mozilla Support account across all devices?

Also, when deleting my Mozilla account, is any and all information related to both my Mozilla account and my Mozilla Support account deleted?

the email "email stating We couldn’t process your monthly recurring donation from noreply@fundraiseup.com" really appears to be a scam

Hello, I think I may have asked about this in the past but cannot recall if I received an answer. Under Settings, I get the message "Your browser is being managed by your organization." This is my home computer and is not being managed by any organization. When I click for more information, it gives me a screen with the following information:

Policy Name Certificates

Policy Value ImportEnterpriseRoots

                         true

If I could get more information on this suspected error, or how to correct it, that would be great. Thanks!

The page https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/kb/ai-chatbot lacks the list of data shared with the chatbot AI providers. It would be nice to know how it is done, how to review the data, and how pages can provide better data.

For first time received email from breach-alerts@mozilla.com. Title is: Your monthly Mozilla Monitor report. Is this a scam? Other people have asked this question and Mozilla Firefox company has not made any attempt to answer these serious questions. If I do not hear back from Mozilla Firefox within a week I might remove Mozilla Firefox and use another company.

On October 29, 2017, Mcafee charged me, and deducted from my bank account, $95.39. I'd like to know WHO authorized this payment, because I certainly did not!! I have dealt with Mcafee in the past, but I would NEVER authorize a payment of this amount!!!!

I demand an explanation and refund to my paypal account, which automatically takes it out of my bank account, IMMEDIATELY!!! I do not tolerate any fraud such as this!!!

I will expect to see the refund TOMORROW!!!

When I last tried to buy with Google stored debit card from my bank the transaction was blocked by the presence of a four-month old phone number. I have updated several weeks ago to my current telephone number and address. Yet the new number is not there, instead the old number is not helping me.

I have been watching YouTube for years, issue free. This week I was blocked, as my computer may be blocking ads and thus violating You Tubes policy. How can I find and disable ad block programs/ extensions, thus allowing me to get back on You tube. I can recognize an outright program, but do not knew if extensions are in play that are not obvious to me. THANKS

Thunderbird has started repeated prompting me for a security exception on a certificate supposedly issued by www.b-g.k12.ky.us (a site associated with my grandson's school system). This site is not one of my email servers. So why is Thunderbird complaining about its certificate?
