Recently, when trying to redirect to a random scp on the scp wiki, a pop-up has strated to appear asking "Allow redirection to this site?". It's annoying and started happening like two days ago. Also clicking allow doesn't even redirect you. How do I turn this off?

Steps to reproduce: 1. Open new tab 2. Start entering something into the search bar

Expected behavior: suggestions from the current search engine are displayed Actual result: only Firefox suggestions are displayed

Note: after tapping SE selection button and selecting a search engine (including the current one), the suggestions appear as expected

For the past few years I have encountered a bug on Android (Galaxy s22) that if I am using Google and within Google I open a page, it's fine. But when I click the back arrow it always jumps two pages back, when I click the forward button it is the same (as if Google is not in the short term history), so that I have to search again what I was searching for. This I have reported to the developers with no fix.

I have learned to work around this bug, but past few days the app is more glitchy than ever, so bad that I felt the need to switch to another app. (So far I have not encountered these problems in Nightly.) The app is now switching continuously between pages, between history and browsing in a normal manner is not possible anymore. If I open a website, the app switches to a page I was a few minutes before. After browsing for an hour with many irritations, I almost downloaded Chrome! Luckily I remembered Nightly, which I've used on an android tablet, because the normal app doesn't support a full desktop mode.

Mine was set to -1, I changed it to 0

But did not fix issue

The latest update severely broke the app. At random, tabs will suddenly go back one, two, sometimes even several steps back in their history, and it is impossible to go back forward to where I was; the "forward" button is grayed out and it's like I never left the page I was suddenly thrown back to for no reason.

This can happen right after following a link, or it can happen several seconds after a page has fully loaded. When this happens, sometimes trying to follow _any_ link sends Firefox back to the same page until the app is forcefully killed and restarted.

Other people have described identical experiences in the Android reviews. Please revert the latest update. It's unusable. I have to go back to Chrome for the first time in over a decade.

I have tried disabling all extensions, and the problem persists.

I play Wordle from NY Times daily. The display has changed when visited through Firefox, remains as usual through other browsers. I have cleared the history and cache. I have deleted all data, turned on and off the VPN and restarted my phone. No joy. All other websites and browsing experience seems OK as usual.

The image I have uploaded is the current display, ie awful and not usual.

I want to download Firefox for android. If I can't do it directly from Mozilla I will not do it at all. I am a long time user of Firefox and Thunderbird and want it for my android phone.

The past few months there is a major issue occurring in Firefox for Android. Whenever, I switch apps or i.e. go to the home screen, all tabs I have opened in the browser get reloaded automatically without my input. Furthermore, I searched online about this problem and one user, named Zeyu Zhong, had previously submitted a review on Google Play explaining this issue. I can't get Firefox to enable the Javascript. I go to sites that rely on Javascript, but I don't know what browsers give me security and Javascript at the same time.

I use a Galaxy A21. It still has the OEM Samsung browser.

What can I use that isn't Goole.

My phone broke down and I had to send it in, for it to be repaired. As usual for warranty repairs the phone needed a factory reset to be sent in. Before doing that I backed up my session using Firefox sync as described here: https://support.mozilla.org/en-US/products/mobile/backup-recovery-and-sync/backup-data That went fine and I could access the data from my PC.

Now my phone returned, I reinstalled firefox yesterday and immediately after signing in, my backup in Sync was overwritten with a blank session. Is there any way to get the old session back?
