Hello, Firefox won't save my download history between sessions, history is set to remember. I tried doing the refresh on the installer and even reinstalling firefox and deleting all mozilla folders in %localappdata% and %appdata% before reinstalling. it just forgets all downloads once I close firefox.

I have been having this weird issue with Firefox lately every time I close the browser and open it again, I get logged out of all my websites. I’ve already checked the settings under “Privacy & Security,” and I do have “Delete cookies and site data when Firefox is closed” turned off, so that’s not the problem. It’s super annoying because I use a few tools daily, including my site https://calculadoridadegestacional.com.br/ and I have to log in again every single time. I’m on Windows 11, using Firefox version 131.0.1 (64-bit). Any idea what could be causing this? Cache? Profile issue? Would appreciate some help..

В том числе с подменой данных в папке sessionstore-backups: запускал браузер - находил эту папку - вставлял нужный файл .jsonlz4 - перезапускал браузер. В таком случае все мои вкладке были на месте НО после закрытия-открытия браузера сессия снова сбрасывается. При очистке браузера, появлялась кнопка "восстановить предыдущие вкладки", восстановление происходило, НО закрыл-открыл браузер - и снова пусто. Пробовал удалить браузер и установить снова - та же проблема. После запуска, если открыть журнал - в разделе недавно закрытые вкладки, недавняя история поиска - пусто, как будто предыдущей сессии вообще не было. Как исправить эту проблему? Примечание - мои закладки, введённые пароли и расширения на месте.

I am having a problem with a 502 Bad Gateway error which will not go away. There was originally a real problem, but it has been cleared up. I am trying to access an e-book on Libby from my local library site when the error occurs. The link works without any problem in Microsoft Edge. It used to work in Firefox as well, until the temporary problem occurred. I have clear my Firefox cache, but this has not resolved the problem. Somewhere Firefox has stored something which is creating this spurious error, but I have been unable to find it. Any suggestions would be very much appreciated.

My bookmarks, history and passwords have disappeared. I looked at the articles, refreshed firefox, have restarted firefox and my computer multiple times but cannot retrieve them.

The bookmarks and history system will not be functional because one of Firefox's files is in use by another application. Some security software can cause this problem.

I tried to use a ftp link setting firefox as the default ftp app, not realizing firefox no longer supports ftp. I am unable to reset the default app and can't find the setting to do so. I downloaded filezilla and wish to set it to be the default app for ftp. Can someone help me with this? Before anyone suggests it, resetting firefox to default settings is not an option.

Firefox repeatedly crashes on my, multiple times a day. I'dc really like to NOT have to change my default browser to Chrome.

What happens is that Firefox freezes, and I get a white bar at the top telling me so. I get a popup box asking if I want to close Firefox or wait for it to respond. Waiting doesn't work, so I always have to close Firefox. When I reopen it, fortunately all m,y open tabs are retained, but it crashes again within minutes or seconds as soon as I click on anything.

There only thing that seems to work is a reboot of my PC. But the respite is short before Firefox crashes again.

I've disabled most plugins, but that hasn't helped. Is there a way to create an event log within Firefox that I can share with someone at Mozilla to help e debug the issue? It's got to be something local rather than Firefox itself; I can't imagine this is happening to most users.

My bookmarks toolbar is showing, but it's empty. All of my bookmarks are gone.

I went to a websites and attempted to add it to my bookmarks toolbar, but Firefox failed to add it to my toolbar.

hi in a new win 10 instal most text incl Fire Fox text is made up of letters [font] that are made of thin and thick lines [in the same letter]

i dont know if its a strange font or another problem, i have copied all "font" setting from my other pc where i dont have the problem.

also i cant get spell check to work here dsespite turning it on

I'm not able to uninstall PWA apps created in Firefox 143.0.1 using Windows 11 usual uninstalling procedure. If i click "uninstall" in Windows Start Menu the app remains installed. PWA apps created with Firefox do not show on Windows 11 installed apps list so I cannot uninstall them. I haven't found any guide on the web on how to uninstall PWA created from Firefox. So, how can I effectively uninstall those PWA apps? Thank you in advance for your kind answer. Regards.

Hello. I have a question. When I scan a PDF file in Firefox, it opens in a new window. Why? I don't mind it opening in a new tab, so I would prefer it to open in a tab.

Every time I update my drivers for Nvidia it of course reloads the screens. This causes all the tabs in Firefox to become separated on the Windows 11 taskbar. In other words, it looks like I have a new firefox window open for each tab (which I'm assuming is how it works but it's hidden most of the time).

It's not a HUGE deal per se, but it is kind of annoying. I have to close then reopen Firefox.

Hello, I wanted to create a script that doesn't allow me to disable a certain extension. For that I thought to locate the file in which the states of extensions are put. I searched online, and the answer appears to be that such file is available in extensions folder in my profile. However, I am unable to find extensions folder under my profile.

Hi, I am having this problem where I am watching a video and there is a very annoying white line at the top of the screen, I have already tried the trick to turn off the titlebar but its still there. My version is updated all the way as well, what do I do now?

Does Firefox support webAuthn passkeys stored by the browser? I have an app that I am working on and I would like to be able to use this feature.

Firefox used to close completely when I close the last tab. The last update broke that behavior. How can I get it back the way it was? This new behavior is sick!!!

I used to be able to clear all data with no problem, but now it's holding to Gmail login data (I think that's the problem, anyway). I clear all data after each browsing session and have been doing so for a long time, but it's not working anymore. But it is working on my husband's laptop and we're on the same version of Windows (11) and have the same settings. Can someone please assist in figuring out what's happening behind the scenes? I have 2 machines (Win10 and Win11) with FF 140.3.1esr (32-bit) installed which demonstrates the same failure when I enter one site's url:

PR_CONNECT_RESET_ERROR

Chrome at the same machines goes at this url w/o any failures. Any ideas what to change on "about:config" in FF to allow it opening this url w/o such error?
