I had to reconstruct my passwords. Today while creating a new password and sign in for Clev. Clinic, each time i created a new password, I went to the password manger "show password" for that site, it was gobbly gook? Then it occurred to me this might be "encryption". Is the password manager now encrypting PW's? OR could it be the Clev. Clinic site doing this? Do you know

Hello,

Am trying to export Firefox passwords. After the warning message that the export file will be readable text, nothing happens. Searched community to find that this problem exists but no solution other than reinstallation. When I did a reinstall not long ago, my profile disappeared so had to recover it using replacement json and db4 files. Not so keen to just re-install and lose my profile again. Thanks for any advice, Stephen

Yesterday passwords were available in the settings , privacy / security section . I then shut down the computer late evening . The next day I started the computer, started firefox and logged into a website and noticed Firefox password didn't seem to be working. I went to Settings / Privacy/ Security / Passwords and all my passwords were missing . How I get the passwords back
