bol it's really frustrating because again I only have one device a Motorola cell phone and I don't have any kind of computers or laptops or anything else and it's always talking me to sync my tabs for my other devices and this and that and it's really frustrating because I don't work I'm on ssti I don't go to school and it's always telling me that my I have an administrator on my account that's for my work or school or something like that when all it is is hackers have taken over my phone and hijacked everything in my life because of my old roommate David Floyd Lee

I'm not an expert so my apologies for any ignorance or "non technical" talk. I've an account on a website. I signed out and then revisit that website as a guest and they says "Welcome Back". I tried to chat with online agent and they know that I'm an existing user. (Although they didn't mention my user name etc but still they know that I often visit their site.) I clear all relevant cookies of that website and even restarted Firefox but still the same situation. Even I tried to use a VPN but same. Just curious how do they know that I've been visiting this website before. Thanks for help.

The Firefox I was using was crushed entirely and lost all my passwords, bookmarks, etc. The app's folder is not accessible. Then I downloaded a new version, and when I tried to open the app, a dialogue box said Firefox was trying to install a helper. Cancel does not work, and the "OK" stops the opening. I have a Mac with an OS Sequoia 15.

I tried to transfer the json, place.., key4, etc by copying from the old information i have, but the system does not work.

This is a privacy problem, because most of the time when I open a website like google.com, I don't want to be logged in so the website can identify me. I only keep a container tab for such a website around, so I can open it if I explicitly want to be logged in.

nord vpn from desktop icon gives the normal pop up in pic 1. next pic when you go to log in you get the with screen in pic 2. if you try log in from a link nord sent in trouble shooting you get pic 3. if you go to crap browsers like chrome and edge it works fine, but we are removing those programs next weeks for security reasons. so i need this to work on firefox. reinstalled nord with no fix. worked fine 11-2925 but not now 11-30-25

At the moment all websites accessed through Firefox are all crashing after a few minutes and often a lot less. It is happenig constantly. It started before I updated Firefox today, but has continued after the update. Anyone know what's happening? I'm still on Windows 10 - will that be an issue?

After installing the latest version of Firefox for Windows, if I have 3 firefox pages open (I have pages ungrouped on the task bar), when a download is in progress, it shows a progress bar on each of the pages as opposed to just on 1 page. Was this change made on purpose or by mistake?

Recently google's advanced search page changed from how it's been displayed for years -- seemingly only on firefox. And I hate the change. It still displays as always on DuckDuckGo and Safari. Firefox is my preferred browser, but I use goodle advanced search myriad times every day and this is changed version is such a PITA that it's approaching being a dealbreaker for me. Sure, I'd like to know wth happened and why, but really I just want google advanced search to return to my preferred display. (It does not just look different, it performs differently, in little ways that matter a lot to me over the multiple times I use it. Be glad to elucidate if it matters.) First attached image is what I'm now getting on ff. Second attached image is what I used to get on ff, and still get on DDG and Safari, and would like back on ff. Please help.

I’m not a great user of “forum solutions” simply because due to an accident and head trauma I have developed quite severe concentration issues, or lack of concentration issues however you would like to look at it.

So if you have an idea about my problem give it to me like I’m a 10 year old.

My situation started about three updates ago, and is as follows.

If I open up a new tab or I open up a link into a new tab or window that tab or window will often not scroll. I did eventually discovered that if I click on the “ reload current page” icon up on the toolbar it then scrolls with no issue whatsoever.

I do understand that this is not an end of the world situation, but is happening with greater frequency and it is an irritation which at times really starts to grind that every time I open a new tab I then have to reload that tab in order to get it to operate.

Suggestions welcome.

Like the title says. I've removed this (see img) page from history and tried hitting SHIFT + DEL with the suggestion highlighted, but it just persists. How can I get rid of it?

I can't tell if I've got a browser hijacker. I'm on an android phone on Firefox and using duckduckgo. I have avast antivirus, but the free version. And in the last 24 hours, sometimes when I type inquiries, usually if its a string of letters and numbers, it will redirect me to a website unrelated to my search. For instance, typing in mig23(looking up fighter jet), it won't do searches and instead will take me to some UK boat website. "OICE", a typo, takes me to a NASA OIIR website. It appears to be close to whatever I typed in, but also doesn't happen every single time. This doesn't happen on my other devices, but it also doesn't happen when I use google in Firefox. However, it is possible that this happened on my laptop but I do not have access to it right now.

I am always in fear of viruses and I desperately want this to be a computer glitch. I cleared the DNS cache, I deleted some files and apps and rebooted and its still happening! I don't know what file could've done it.

On a new computer, I entered a new Mozilla password, and Mozilla on new computer won't sync with my old bookmarks, which still are on old computer.

Sync doesn't add these bookmarks.

Both computers now sign in with new PW. I can't go back to old PW (doesn't have current standards).

How to get sync to work, and get my bookmarks on new computer?

Hi community The option to set, how many rows of shortcuts should be visible on the Firefox start screen, is a good idea. E.g. I set 3 rows and fill them with relevant shortcuts. The shortcuts in the bottom row always changes when I visit several websites. My understanding is: Setting the shortcuts as necessary and that's it! Wtf happens, that the last row changes all the time, that makes me fussy. regards wolf

Social Security just stopped me from downloading my 2026 COLA on Firefox with an error 400 (bad request), but I was able to do it on Edge. More and more websites, particularly financial and government websites, work with Edge but not Firefox. And when I call their customer services, their first response is "try another browser!" Why do they hate Firefox?

If someone wants me to walk them through an example of the problem(s), I can do that when I pull statements or pay bills on those websites. I also have Mozilla VPN, and some things only work when I turn off the VPN, so that may be compounding the incompatibility. Although I am in Eugene (OR), the closest location for my VPN is Seattle.

I've been using Firefox for decades without any problems. Still on Windows 10. The last update 'made' my bookmarks 'disappear'. I can see all the backups, but somehow they can't be reloaded. Worse, can't even reload my own earlier backup (HTML format). I've tried all available tricks to no avail.
