So I am THIS close to uninstalling firefox forever. Every 10 seconds, when I have a google tab open, it brings me to my permissions on location, and asks me to give permission. I turned it off in firefox settings 'block new location requests' but it keeps happening. I have location turned off on my PC, and don't wish to turn it on. This is INCREDIBLY frustrating as I can't use google now because of it. How do I stop it.

When on a web page, if I would like to share that page with someone I go to the top of FireFox browser window, top left corner, left click on File , go down to Email Link... and left click on it.

Previous to two days ago it always opened my Gmail client and prefilled my information, subject and URL of the page and then I typed in the recipient's address.

Now it no longer shows the same window, it does not show the sent from information. Also it is sending from my wife's email address, which is hidden.

(Win11Pro) If I allow Firefox to update itself from 123.14.0 ESR to 140.3.0 ESR (now apparently 140.3.1 ESR), the update apparently corrupts something in the browser so that it does not respond to the entry of ANY URL. I have to restore a backup of my C: drive, losing some recent data every time. As it stands, I cannot update Firefox beyond ESR 128.14.0, which is what I'm using now. What should I do? Do I have to switch to another browser? Thank you for your help with this. --AnneF

How do I turn off the sliding arrows so I can see all my pinned tabs at once? I do not like the pinned websites to be hidden?! Wish you would stop changing things.

On Firefox, the line graphs slowly stretch downward at

as if the image height is being incremented. (Chrome & Edge display stably.)

I have asked this question before and followed ALL recommendations to no avail. I received no other suggestions to now, nearly a year later I am asking this question again. I am running a fully updated Windows 11 computer. I have 4 fully up to date browsers; Vivaldi 7.5.3735.66 (Stable channel) (64-bit); EDGE Version 139.0.3405.125 (Official build) (64-bit); DuckDuckGo version 0.126.3; and Firefox 142.01. I play Bejeweled Blitz on FaceBook. The game works perfectly on all browsers EXCEPT Firefox. When I try to play on Firefox I get a message that says I must "upgrade to the latest version of Flash:. There is NO flash anymore. Why am I getting this message on Firefox but the game works just fine on all other browsers?

I am using a wallpaper on the New Tabs page.

It's nice. But I would like to do one additional thing with them: Adjust the selected wallpaper based on the dark or light mode on the operating system, for example by toning the brightness down a bit when using dark mode, or choosing a different image/color altogether.

I don't think this is possible using the settings alone, but maybe using useChrome.css? However, I cannot figure out how exactly to do that.

I've been trying to get Firefox to save cookies for a few desired websites (bank, investment accounts website, Sync... and of course Firefox/Mozilla itself) so I don't have to constantly use the 2FAs for those accounts. Firefox refuses to keep me logged in to my Mozilla/Firefox account. Every few hours -- or at the very least, after a machine shut-down -- I have to re-login if I re-start Firefox.

I do not use the Firefox Password Manager; it's unchecked in Settings. Nor do I use the Autofill options in Settings. I use the Bitwarden Extension (set to Never for locking/logout -- because this is a home computer) for Firefox to log in to my sites, with a separate authenticator app, Authy.

The Firefox Privacy & Security Settings for tracking cookie blocking are the Standard ones; I haven't done anything to customize them. Further down on that page, I've tried leaving the box blank for clearing cookies on exit. I've tried checking the box and setting up exceptions for those few sites I'd like to login to without having to go through the 2FA rigamarole. I've done multiple Refreshes, clearing of History, uninstall/reinstalls including deletion of every Firefox profile and anything hinting at a connection to Mozilla or Firefox in all Users on the computer, including all the AppData folders. A few days ago, I even deleted the Mozilla/Firefox account and set up a new one with a different email address.

Nothing seems to work. Most recently, Firefox still had all the relevant cookies after the computer was shut down overnight, but an hour into my day's work, after closing Firefox and re-opening it a short while later, all the cookies are gone once again!

None of this was an issue about three months ago. I could save the desired cookies, get rid of other ones, use private browsing, etc. etc., with basically the same set-up and with the Mozilla/Firefox account I had had for years. Now, I've had to delete that account in an apparently vain effort to try to clear out anything "Mozilla" from this computer -- and it didn't work anyhow.

(I posted about this same issue a week or so ago, but didn't receive any responses and have now deleted that Mozilla/Firefox account -- see above -- so this message is an update.)

This morning my firefox would not start up so I use that other one (E) and d/l you 64 bit I reinstall it and I have No bookmarks at all How do I get them back or can I use the other by import and search for the cvs file and the other one call html if so where would they be located at?

I recently updated Firefox to the latest version on Windows 11, and since then the browser keeps freezing randomly while browsing. Sometimes it becomes unresponsive when multiple tabs are open, and I have to force close it.

For example, yesterday I was checking a food site with the Dunkin Donuts Menu, and the browser completely froze when I tried switching between tabs. I already tried clearing cache, disabling extensions, and even refreshing Firefox, but the issue still comes back.

Has anyone else experienced this problem after the recent update? Any guidance on what else I can try would be appreciated.

уже второй раз браузер закрывается и при новом открытии все закреплённые вкладки исчезают, из-за этого уже думаю поменять браузер, потому что восстановить даже из бекапа не получается

When I hover the cursor over the Firefox icon all my open windows appear but they no longer shrink to fit the screen. Since the thumbnails don't shrink, the last windows opened disappear off the edge of the screen and I can't find a way to drag them back into view. In the past if I opened too many thumbnails they used to shrink, then turn into a list. I can't find anything in settings to fix this. Please help.
