Aol e mail uk.

I have used aol e mail and Firefox for years. When set it has allowed me in automatically on my own computers without the password.

Now it asks for additional verification 2 stage to get into aol, and this works on my work computer. However on my own desktop and laptop on Windows 10 it does not now let me in even trying to go through the verification.

There is no phone or chat support in UK for aol that I have found.

Two suggestions it makes is to remove ad blockers, which I am not keen on, presumably this is pop ups, and allow Java script which I do not know anything about.

Please can you help. Aol suggests using other devices but what about my own computers?

I get the window shown in the attached image when I launch Firefox now that I have updated from the ESR 140 versions to the ESR 153 versions.

If I click OK, it takes me into Firefox but it appears that the settings in my auto config are not being set suggesting that the configuration file that cannot be read is the firefox.cfg file that the instructions for auto configure (https://mzl.la/3pb4w0I) tell one to create with all the settings. It appears that the autoconfig.js file that is in "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox\defaults\pref" is being read correctly as the two settings show properly in about:config.

I have set the specs on autoconfig.js to have be:

• end of line as LF and not the Windows/DOS standard of CRLF,
• the text encoded in UTF-8, and
• I have tried with BOM and non-BOM.

I have also tried these specs on the firefox.cfg file even though the the auto configure instructions do not say what specs to use on that file.

As I mentioned, things worked fine while I was using Firefox ESR 140.x, where x could be completion of any of the valid version numbers. Now that I have upgraded to Firefox ESR 153.x, this problem seems to have surfaced.

From the auto configure instructions, firefox.cfg is to be placed in "C:\Program Files\Mozilla Firefox", however, in doing a web search, I came across and article on LinkedIn (https://www.linkedin.com/pulse/2023fix-firefox-failed-read-configuration-file-error-andrew-m) from about three years ago that indicates firefox.cfg is to be in the same directory as autoconfig.js. Given it worked as described in the auto configure instructions before ESR 153, I figured this was wrong but tested it anyway by moving the firefox.cfg file. It changed nothing.

This is a problem for all my users on each of their individual domain accounts. I have tested and it makes no difference whether I'm running it on a Win10 or a Win11 computer.

I am using auto config for those settings that cannot be changed through Group Policy.

The VIEW tab in my Firefox will/can read some links and articles to me. It is wonderful.Choosing 'READER VIEW' in the VIEW tab. But some it does not. I'm hoping some AI will have this feature.- speaking it to me. Thanks.

This morning, all of the right click feature have disappeared and the only options I get when I right click on a page is "Send to mobile." Gone are copy, paste, screenshot, etc.

Should start up with my gmail account. I get only a blank screen, then that closes and I get the restart now message. Sometimes this happens with facebook but main problem is I can't get into my gmail account

The yandex.kz search engine keeps opening, even though I removed everything in the settings and set it to Google only; whenever I launch Firefox, the yandex.kz URL opens. How do I remove the yandex.kz search engine and keep only Google?

Problem originates when trying to log-in to Spotify account at https://accounts.spotify.com. The next page in the log-in sequence, a Captcha screen, is blocked and a red bar under "Welcome back" is displayed with the text "Oops! Something went wrong, please try again or take a look at our help area" - see the attached screenshot

Clearing the browser cache, restarting Firefox, disconnecting a VPN, or disabling browser extesions had no effect. Enhanced Tracking Protection is set at Standard.

Clearing the browser caches again and running Firefox in Troubleshoot Mode disabled all extensions but delivered the same outcome - a red bar and the next page blocked.

This appears to be specifically an issue within Firefox or its settings as Spotify is accessible using Edge (which I prefer to keep in the box) with the same extensions enabled and a VPN connected.

Is there a setting that is causing access to the Captcha screen?

Facebook loads in and then becomes a blank empty page unable to read the feed, this is a new problem that started today, it runs on other browsers and my phone but not on Mozilla.

When i click on the blue get started button on the Try Firefoxes built on vpn pop up, i get the screen where i need to put in my email. After that it says signed in succesfully, but i just get the Try firefoxes built in vpn pop up again. I'm stuck in a loop :(

In the past couple of weeks (say Sept 2026), Firefox has started signing me out of everything when it closes or updates even though 'clear browsing data' is UNchecked. What else can I do to stop this?

Everything was ok, but exidently (maybe after some update) my firefox browser just stopped recovering my pages after closing and reopening it. YES, it is turned on in settings and I tried every single advice I found, this fucking browser just don' do it. I don't have extensions. There are backups files in sessionstore-backups, but it doesn't load it. I looked at sessionstore-logs there was a one error(date is about time recovery stopped working), which was caused by lack of free space on my disk, but now I have a lot of free space and it still doesn't work
