Hi, it looks like Firefox can copy links from selected tabs, using right-click menu. It doesn't work for non HTTP(S) addresses though, such as "file:///C:/Users/USER/etc."

Is it possible for non HTTP(S) addresses?

The add on Export Tabs URLs by AL is very good, has the option for non HTTP(S) addresses, but I couldn't get it to work for selected tabs, is it possible for selected tabs?

Currently when I click a link in and email, it always opens in Microsoft Edge even though my computer has Firefox as default browser. Is there another setting I'm missing?

Hello Mozilla, FireFox in my default browser, but since you last update to 150.0, now my outlook won't open the hyper links from e-mail with them. It worked just fine between the two before. Now I get a message " this operation has been cancelled due to restrictions in effect on this compute. Please contact your system administrator." I am the administrator! anybody else report this issue since? I've tried all the internet advised fixes of changing the regedit registers from FIREFOXhtml to just htmlfile, but no joy. bold textI have my Windows 11 and Firefox updated as of 4/3/2026. I have two ongoing problems with Firefox. 1. No link works. I keep getting redirected back to my original location. I have used your troubleshoot feature to restart, but it doesn't stay fixed. 2. I have AdBlock Plus Premium and everytime I close the browser it logs me out of my AdBlock account. It is a real irritating problem. I pay to have ads blocked and if I can't keep it from blocking unwanted ads, then I guess I will quit using Firefox.

Google browser keeps popping up in my browserwhen Firefox is my default browser in my setting and downloaded & installed from my Google playstore. I don't like Google and what it does but I feel trapped because I have so much important data on their Gmail and other Google apps. I am a senior with traumatic brain injury and have no tech knowledge or experience to have other options.

Whenever I search something and there is a youtube video included in the search results, all links direct to that video. In the example image it show me hovering over a website link and in the bottom left hand corner it instead tries to open a youtube link at the bottom of the page.

I used to be able to clink on an image link prior to a Firefox update (I don't know which one) to go to that site. Firefox gives me that it cannot find the server. What can I do to correct this problem?

Links don't work reliably in Firefox. For example, I can't pay with PayPal when making a purchase because clicking the "PayPal" link doesn't open the PayPal page.

Is there a Firefox setting I need to change, or do I need to switch to a different browser?

How do I get the 'open in new tab' option back when I use the right button on my mouse. It does not appear on the menu when I right click? This is a change overnight and I have not altered any settings.

If a click a link on the current page, the new page does not get loaded and the progress bar keeps sliding till eternity. But if I choose the option 'Open link in new tab' things work fine. The problem is being faced both on Windows and Linux. I do not know if it is a simple settings issue. Help is requested. Thanks in advance

When I try to open a link from a different app, e.g. from calibre to open the Updates link, firefox opens a new instance instead of opening a new tab in the current instance. This causes the browser to throw an error and never open the link.

is this fixable?

as the title suggests, i am now allowede to copy and paste at all anymore from the browser. and not only that, i am also unable to paste anything i have copied from the browser into another app. i am able to copy and paste from and to any other app, just not anything firefox related

i have checked about:config if anything with cut, copy, clipboard etc is set to true, and it was

i have refreshed firefox multiple times, which fixes it for 3 minutes and then im back to the same problem

i have uninstalled firefox, removed the local files, rebooted my pc, reinstalled firefox. and that didnt work

i stopped all addons, and i tried safe mode

i am at a loss what is going on with my firefox

also to add, i tried a firefox fork (librewolf) and from that i am able to copy and paste from and to the browser, which makes it even weirder

This is a brand new problem, for me. It just started today when using FireFox. On nearly all websites, including Mozilla support, when I click on an embedded link on a site, firefox asks me to select an app to open the https. Even if I tell it to let firefox open all https, it still asks me everytime. to make it better, it still doesn't always let me open the link and I go through the same thing when I click the link again.

This also happens when clicking on the search box in *any* search engine, e.g. Google, Startpage

I've attempted to change all cookie & tracking settings, no help. I even uninstalled and reinstalled Firefox.

This is making FireFox useless.

I had to use my default browser, Brave, just to submit this question. I only use FireFox for social media accounts, sites I need to link to my sm accounts and the occasional web search. For example, linking my Etsy shop to facebook. When I clicked the link "link to facebook" is when I noticed this problem.
